Altenative to a B/S tire

I have an old 14 inches Delta band saw. When I inquired (at Delta) about buying a replacement tire the answer I got was "We do not carry parts for that model anymore. Up to now I have been getting by with using hockey friction tape instead of the proper tire. I wonder if someone else have a better idea. TIA

has new urethane bandsaw tires.

A tire from Sears will probably fit. The 12" model is about $15. You may need to give them a Sears part number so they can find it.

Or (one of my favorite toy stores) Highland Hardware in Atlanta.

They are relly good tires. I put one on my 14" Deltaa number of years ago, and, it is working like a champ. Regards Dave Mundt
