Banksia pod

where might I find some, does lee valley have them?, I'm over on the mainland around new years, so i thought I'd go by.

I doubt LV carries them, but don't let that stop you dropping in. Beware, though... You may *have* to take my old lathe for free unless you leave your wallet behind before walking in the doors of the store.

Windsor Plywood here in S'toon has them regularly, they've got stores all over the lower mainland, and on the island.

LV carries the tagua nuts, and I am certain they also carry the banksia pods. They don't have them in their catalogue, but I'm certain they stock them.

yeah, I've bought the taqua nuts before from them, they are in the Fine Woodworking catologue. no banksia pods, even using the online item search.

Call Windsor Plywood, they'll be in the phone book. As I said, they stock them here in Toon Town.

They also have a good selction of bowl blanks and small offcuts of exotics for a few bucks a piece. Nice if you want a small bit of fancy on a budget.
