I am having problems with my jumbo Kel McNaughton center saver. My lathe is a Powermatic 3520. The problem is that I cannot raise the tool post high enough to get the cutting tip at or above center height as per the instructions. The closest I get is about 3/4" below center. Do I need a longer tool post or have I messed up the setup somewhere? Also, I believe it was on this forum where someone posted the email address of the Kelton rep, does anybody still have it? Thanks!

Seems I remember this came up before. I believe mods had to be made to the toolpost and vaguely recall that Kelton was going to remedy this. You might try a google search on this topic.
Dave,
You need a long column for your tool post. I will send one out to you. Send me your address direct and I will get one out on Monday. I need to know if you Powermatic is a 1" column or a 1 1/8". Early Powermatic 3520's were 1 1/8" now they have 1".
