The lonliness of space is unbearable. It seems an eternity since I've had human contact. The e-mails from you guys have been my only saving grace. Without them I fear madness would overtake me. In space there is no division of night and day as the Lord intended for man. There is only me and the blackness. 1.75 would never be able to bear this.
I started my day,if you want to call it that,in the manner I have become accustomed to. A steaming bowl of sauerkraut and a glass of Tang. This was followed by an urgent bathroom break and reruns of Full House picked up by the crafts satellite receptors. Those Olson twins always cracked me up. Now I can barely manage a smile.Be strong I tell myself. Take it to the Lord in prayer. Alas I am beginning to feel even he has forsaken me.If it were not for my awesome responsibility to be the first man on Mars I would redirect this craft to heaven itself.To safety at last and nestle my weary headin the bosom of Abraham.
