---BEGIN TRANSMISSION---

Something is not right. After a heaping plate of sauerkraut and a big glass of Tang this morning, I received an email on my Blackberry. But the sender portion was blank. All it said was "Don't worry, Al. You will come home in a few days." That just doesn't make sense. I'm way too far away from Earth to make it back in that short of a time.

That bothered me, so I readjusted my schedule and inserted a pre-Bible-study Bible study to look for answers. All answers are in there. You just have to know where to look for them. Now, I'm not normally a First Samuel guy, but that just happened to be the chapter I opened it up to. And there it was, First Samuel 26:16. Highlighted. I have never highlighted anything in my Bible in my life. I would never desecrate the Good Book like that. And yet there it was, in a pale yellow highlighted by the green lights of my bridge console.

"As the Lord lives, all of you must surely die."

This is getting creepy. I've been in this capsule too long. Mars can't come too soon. I'm ready to put my feet on some good old dirt, even if it's not from Earth. I feel like something really bad is going to happen. My heart is racing and my palms are sweating all the time. If any of you can still receive my transmissions, please let me know what you think is happening. This sense of foreboding weighs on me like a freshly cut cord of orange osage atop my shoulders.

God Bless Kyder Out

Flatulence. Too much sauerkraut will do it every time.

I sat down to supper tonight, pups and kraut, and the first thing that came to mind was, "Dang, I don't have any Tang!"

No kidding!
