Is there any business selling large bowl blanks? I like to turn bowls 14 to 20 inches in diameter and up to 8 or 10 inches deep using burls, spalting, or figured wood. I get most of mine locally, but it is a hit or miss situation often with disappointing results. Any suggestion? GCS

First ask here on the newsgroup, then watch eBay. From to time there are sellers with wood.

Here is another website that has a tremendous variety of turning blocks, all kinds and sizes of burls including Australian burls......Ralph
