Hello folks, Presently I have a Supernova chuck and when taxes come back I have permission to get another chuck. I have "narrowed" the field to: Teknatool Titan, Supernova, Vicmarcs bigger chuck and the Oneway Stronghold. I am really leaning to the Vicmarc but I do have a few jaws for the Supernova and I don't know if these jaws will fit on the Vicmarc. Any opinions? Anyone have the new Titan chuck? Thanks in advance!!! Guy

I have had a Titan for over six months now. It is an excellent heavy duty chuck and the new large Powergrip jaws are astounding.
The complete review I wrote of it for More Woodturning can be obtained in pdf format here:

First off, I'm a novice turner, Guy. So my opinion won't carry quite as much water as those of others here. That said, I've had a Vicmarc for a little over a month and continue to be impressed with it. I have two sets of jaws (standard dovetail and long nose), both of which perform perfectly. I opted for the Vic because of the key operation, which makes for easy one-hand tightening while holding the blank in the other hand. These chucks appear to be extremely precise and beautifully constructed. No complaints so far.
