Has anyone used Polycryl?

I would be interested in hearing from any here that have first hand knowledge of the product. I have some rather lovely spalted Maple (soft) that is somewhat punky and from the writeup on the Packard site, this seems to fit the bill.

Thanks,

i have used polycryl, however i would recommend you check out polyall2000 instead. it works much better. it has the viscosity of water, cures in a few minutes. i use it before taking the final cut.

Ditto on the Polyall 2000! An excelent product for stabilizing punky wood. Far better than any of the liquid "wood hardners" or epoxys that I've used. The down side: it's expensive if you have it shipped to the US. Why?
