Odd adapter for a lathe chuck

A few months ago I acquired a Jacobs chuck for a lathe spindle that had a thread size of 1 3/8 by 10. I researched and found out that South Bend had a lathe called a Junior that they made in the early

30's which used that size. I have an old Delta with a 1x8 spindle on it. I happened across

this group and thought I'd see if they would make (probably one ofa kind) an adapter. They took the data over the phone on Monday andSaturday the adapter arrived. It fits perfectly and it looks reallyneat. No rough edges, no rough screw on, just very nicely done. And atmy request they put a hole all the way through it so I can put dowelsthrough the head stock and into the chuck and work on the end then cutthem off.

Usual disclaimers. I don't work for them, not related to them etc. etc etc. Just wanted to pass on information that someone might find of use.
