OneWay Easy Core

I have a question about the EasyCore. OneWay advertises the ability to core 2" above and below the knife size. Is this true? With a 9" knife, I can expect to get a 11", 9" and a 7" core. I'd like to hear from someone who has experience with an Easy Core Thanks RP

The cutter has the ability to rotate past the center, being limited by the handle (you can't cut out a sphere). So, with a 6 inch radius knife, it is ideal for a 12 inch core. It will leave a nice rounded bottom. If you take a 14 inch core, since the cutter goes past the center, the bottom of the core will be concave. If you take a 10 inch core, it will have more of a cone shape. robo hippy
