Was given an old used Makita cordless electric screw driver (in good condition) with a Model DC1290A Makita Fast Charger. The charger has a light that goes out after one hour - it only says "Rest charger 15 minutes between chargings."
Questions: Does it take more than one hour to fully charge this battery? Is there a danger of over-charging? Is there an automatic shutoff or not? Since mine appears older - guess not????
I have no manual or instruction book and no other pertinent info is available. Google did nothing. Mike
