Instead of doing his own research, Hank dared to ask: "Can a large drop be excepted?" Nope. But he should have looked up 'large drops' for himself. That way he could have kept the rest of this ignorant group from knowing as much about 'large and small drops' as I do. He should have had enough interest and intellectual integrity not to ask for a simple answer on a ng or expect this COC to help him with an answer that might relate to the interests of woodturners ...or teetotallers. Of course the word 'drop' means the same in every usage, including tears, pitching a baseball, cutoffs from a log or a small swig of a single malt. No difference.
IOW, Don't Ask, Don't Tell. Look it up. That way rcw with its improper friendly give and take of info and advice can quietly fade away. We here. believe "help" is a four letter word.
