Kinda zen-like ain't it. I'm more into the wood, engaged on a more basic level as it were, when I'm woodturning. I'm wood turning more when I'm waiting for something else to happen or when I can't do woodturning for whatever reason. On the other hand, we're made up of atoms that have been recycled through millions of years, sometimes vegetable, sometimes animal, sometimes mineral. Which means that when I move I'm wood turning to some degree. Which would make it wood turning whether woodturning or woodturning. It's turtles all the way down. sorry about the religion stuff, I promise I'm not MZ incognito.

I thought woodturning was using a small lathe and WOOD turning was using a big one.
