Re: Jet Mini Motor Overheating Problem Repaired

Bertie and anyone else in the predicament. A capacitor which will fit in the space available and of the same rating (microFarads) should be available through any motor repair place. Rating is on the old one.

You ought to look into Defense Contractors. Had a friend working at Kaiser Electronics. They make stuff for the F-16 and the like. He got an order for 500 special screws. He looked up the price - $0.60 each. They also had a $5 shipping and handling fee. He multiplied 500 x 0.60 = $300 plus $5 S&H for a total of $305.

He was told "NO! - That's 500 x $5.60 for a total of - $2,800!"

He left the company in disgust.
