I am looking for a source for 1 1/8 faceplates or a spindle adapter from 1

1/8 to 1 inch spindle. It would be for a j-line 170 though I think the oliver ay be the same. Just checking ahead how hard these are to find. Anyone know if there are any chucks that have adapters for this. I think it looked like oneway has one. Thanks. John Gbur.

HI John,

The easiest place to find them and at a good price as well is from Bill Noble

Good luck. Dan

Or you could get one from PennState Ind. ($14.95)

I bought the Penn State adapter when I went from a Jet lathe to a Nova... It's ok, but if you do vacuum chucking, it doesn't suck.. lol

I'd talk to Bill Noble, he's the guru in that area.. And his faceplates are highly recommended..

As to chucks, I did buy the Oneway adapter for one of my Talon chucks and it works fine...
