StrangeTurning

Perhaps someone out there can help me on this one:

We just returned from a trip to Argentina with a stop in Santiago Chile. We had to change planes there and were on the ground for about 2 hours.

In one of the display areas the Sharp Co. had a display of Aquous monitors playing a DVD showing off the color on the monitors. One segment was a wood turner making a very thin bowl. He had some sort of swivel attachment hung under the tool rest into which he slid his turning tools. I could not tell if this was part of a duplicator or something very different. Does anyone know anything about this?
