Suggestions?

Christmas is coming and I am searching for a project that our Turning Club can make for "needy" kids. Last year we made cars out of 2X4's, approximately 2-300 cars.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Something we can form an assembly line process but not too involved.

Regards, Lewis

Why not make Christmas ornaments, sell them and give the proceeds to the needy kids - make sure the kids get the money!

The TN Association of Woodturners does an annual Christmas tree ornament sale and we give the money to the local orphanage - it is a great feeling to know that your passion for turning can bring joy to a person decorating a tree and to a child receiving a gift from the proceeds of your efforts!

BTW - ATTN TN ASSOCIATION OF WOODTURNERS members - we need 2 ornaments each at the October meeting!
