2007 NYCO

I started a srochet project as my new years project this year. I am doing a victorian thread holder , so I can carry my sock yarn and knit while I exercise at the gym. I have 1 side done so far.

I am doing a felted bag for myself as a NYCO - meant to be a project bag that will look better sitting in the family room than the assorted bags I now use. I cast it on this afternoon. Judy

Oh, I thought I had started it. LOL ANyhow, I have cast on a pair of Jaywalker socks for me. ANd I am not keeping track, either.

I'm going to make myself a wrap/cardigan and some fingerless gloves. Just need to find the right yarn

Well, I probably should just finish the stuff I've set aside for the holiday knitting. This includes 2 cardigans and a shawl, all for me. If I get this all done I may do the Tina Shawl from Fiddlesticks. Of course, first I have to finish the bag I'm working on - holiday gift that didn't quite get done for the holidays, but the recipient is more than willing to wait a bit longer - and the second wrist warmer for my daughter (did the first one last night when I ran out of one color on the aforementioned bag). Then that same daughter wants me to make her a sweater but has yet to decide on a pattern, and my youngest wants another "sweater with love in every stitch"...it never ends, but it sure is fun :-)

Last year, I made a sequined tank top. I had started a shawl to match, without the sequines, but never finished it. I had to get more materials. Now that I do, either I will frog what I have and start again, or continue. I hope this will count even though I started it in 2006.

I finished my crocheted purse/ thread bag. I love the size of it. It fits my sock project in it so I can knit at school. I will try it out tomorrow.
