That was a memo when I was in high school, back in the 80s. ARgyles were popular, but only if they matched your sweater. White gym socks were always de rigeur.

I made a resolution the other day to stop wearing t-shirts except as items as sleepwear. My entire wardrobe consists of gimme shirts and a handful of FotL plain white shirts. Time for me to quit looking like a destitute fat near-middle-aged white woman :)

I have a pair of Birkenstocks that would be combat boots if they weren't shoes. I wear them with everything. Went for a non-starter job interview a few weeks ago in a nice black skirt, a blue blouse...and bright yellow socks with my clomper Birks. :D

That and the green both. I could deal with the blue labelled "North Atlantic", but I have several pairs of blue socks in the drawer and at least a few more waiting in the stash to be made up. And I can't justify more yarn right now, either. I really am trying to stick to my self-imposed yarn/fiber diet. Really!

Sorry!

Pine forest, Anthrazit, Caramel Cream, North Atlantic, and Jeans. The red was all gone or I'd have gotten that, too.
