Finished 2nd hat

Gemini, LOL,,,,,,,,,,,,thanks. It is so windy here with no sun that it makes the wind chill in the 30's. Feels real cold after being in the 80's last week. I'm glad your sun is shinning and is nice there. Enjoy. I know what you mean though about what we think it cold and what others do. We had one winter that it was a month and a half with -30 degree temperatures without the wind..........and then the year we had 6 and 1/2" of ice and were without power for 9 days but really this is nothing compared to hurricanes, earthquakes and mud slides so I'll take it. Enjoy your day, Susie

........> Peace!

Tamar, Too late. I ripped it all out and took a nap. LOL. I do remember looking it over and it looked like a mess. :) I will remember this though for next time. Susie

I definitely agree with you on that... hearing about the horrendous weather that other people have to deal with makes me very happy to live where I do... even when we have two or three weeks at a time (in winter of course) when it doesn't stop snowing and the laneway needed to be shovelled three or four times a day to keep ahead of it. Thankfully this house is well insulated, so when we do need to go outside in blizzard-like conditions, we can come back inside and warm up in no time knowing that the snow will eventually stop.

You mentioned the thick ice. I'm not crazy *really*, but I love the day after an ice storm, especially when the sun comes out and everything is covered in a thick layer of ice and glittering like diamonds all over. It

*is* treacherous to walk and drive on, and can drop some branches off trees and cut off power for days, but it is so beautiful to look at! :o)

Peace! Gemini

- The sun shining through the window beside me is keeping me VERY warm at the moment. In fact, it's getting a little *too* warm... but I'm not complaining, I'm enjoying it!

Gemini, Ah yes the ice although it is pretty was wickedly treacherous. Our power was torn right off our house by a limb. Susie

David, Thanks David. I attempted the scarf to match the little blue hat for my grandson but I really need some different needles. Maybe today while I'm out I will get some. Susie
