I finished knitting the Flower Basket Shawl last night at Bible study. I have three ends to weave in, I did one last night, and the other four I used the russian join on, but the cast on end, and the first new ball join I still have to weave in. Then, comes blocking, and I am ready to gift it to the wife of the priest who married us and baptised our children. :)
I have cast on for a ruffly play dress of my own design for Amira, and I was wondering if I should treat kitchen cotton/Lion cotton like denim and add length to allow for shrinking. I also swatched for a bolero I am designing for myself. There's a UFO for me to pick up and work on, so that is now in my knitting bag as well.
