Yep, happy birthday to us!!! and happy day to the rest of this world!! ohhhh! say war of the worlds yesterday, it's a kick-ass movie!!! Maggs

Happy Birthday to the USA

Haven't seen that movie yet but really want to . Went and saw mr and mrs smith .... wait for the dvd folks. Coggie

I haven't seen it, but my son and his friends have. Even though my son is a BIG Speilberg fan, he wasn't terribly impressed by 'War of the Worlds'. He said "It was okay, but definitely not one of Speilberg's best."

Oh well, to each his/her own I guess. I'll likely wait until it comes to video to rent.

ah, but NOTHING could beat the original radio broadcast, methinks! Noreen evidently invisible today

Thanks, Maggie! I'd think the movie would NOT be as good as the original radio spot though... imaginations, y'know??? Hugs, Noreen

I hope everyone is having a great 4th July! Best wishes from

Liz

Not invisible... at least not now... I see you! :o)

About the original radio broadcast... I wouldn't know... my Mom told me about that. Apparently Matthew and his best friend saw the original movie at highschool... they liked that one better than the new Speilberg one they just saw last Wednesday night. Matthew and Kyle tend to talk about the movies they see and analyze them... hmm, can we say "Ebert & Roper (sp)"? hehehe

Happy birthday to us and all or Girls and Boys that died as veterans to make sure we can have many more. As they say, "Hug a Veteran if you love your freedom." God bless or Girls & Boys that are still in harms way today making sure we can make this wonderful comments like these.

Hugs & God bless, Dennis & Gail

You know what Kandace said? She said, "I love hearing stories or reading stories because I can make my own pictures." Believe it or not, she loves radio dramas, and she is just turning 9!
