Fibre Craft patterns

Does anyone have Fibre Craft patterns for the bed dolls and 13 inch dolls ? I am interested in getting some. Would appreciate a reply. Thank you so much. Jeanette Wahl

Hi

Even try the Fibre Craft website as I know they have a few patterns for their dolls on the site.

I have also found a couple of their patterns on Michaels website.

Unfortunately, I think once it's out there on the newsgroup there isn't really a whole lot that you can do to remove it.... it will likely stay in the archives. :o/

Oh really? That's pretty neat, and something I didn't know! Thank you for the lesson learned. ;o) See... that old adage is true... you do learn something new everyday!

Noreen, any idea just what usenet provider would you contact to remove a message from this list? Or how to find out? Just curious.

Hi Carey, the person who PUT the message up has to contact the usenet provider they use to remove a message. It has to be the exact email and IP address, and then it usually takes 3 - 4 hours. I have done it, myself, using news.individual.net and my isp provider dtccom.net HTH, Noreen

PS, using outlook express, you go up to Message on the toolbar, scroll to cancel message. IF it's going to 'work', it'll be done from there. HTH Noreen

Noreen, I had been under the (mistaken) impression that the "Cancel Message" in OE was for messages waiting to be sent, rather than after they had been sent and appeared on a newsgroup. May have to find a test group and try it, just to make sure my OE isn't missing any parts(tho' I wouldn't be surprised if it is, LOL!). I do have mine set to NOT send messages immediately, however, that doesn't stop me emailing someone directly instead of to a group, if I don't look at it before I hit the send button a second time. ;-) Thanks so much, I learned something today, too.

X-No-Archive: yes "MRH" wrote

You can go back into the google archives and remove your own messages too. It's a bit tedious, but it can be done.

Eimear, Does the "X-No-Archive: yes" at the beginning of your post somehow indicate to a news server that your message can be archived, or is that telling it to delete it after a certain length of time? I've seen several different people post with this in the body of their message, and occasionally in the headers, if they use something other than Outlook Express.

Also, to keep something from being kept in the google archives, put the following line in the FIRST LINE of your post:

X-No-archive: yes

Thank you, Karen. I had just ask Eimear if that blurb at the beginning of her post kept if from being archived. Does that only apply to Google's archives, or other places, as well? Carey (Gee, I'm learning a whole lot today.)

Thank you, everyone, for all your great and informative answers. I did try googling for an answer, but just didn't seem to get the proper word combination. Must file this all away for future references.

Hope you all had a safe and enjoyable 4th of July holiday weekend.

Google removes `X-No-archive: yes' posts after a week. Any other newsgroup archives might not even keep it that long.

No, you can cancel your own posts after being sent, however sometimes they propagate so fast they show up on some servers.

My messages show up quickly (at least to me they do). If I leave this newsgroup to check another for a minute or two, when I come back here my message is up.
