I can not get the newstgroup rcty through my isp?

Is any one having a simular problem

Hugs, Dennis

It may be that your ISP views rcty as a low-traffic group and has dropped it from their feed. Call or send an email asking where it went, see what they say.

That's why I dumped Earthlink after 3 years and have been happy with Verizon, they will add almost any group as long as it's listed at google or that other place....ISC I think.

are you getting an error message? my ISP has frequent (usually weekly) news spool dumps, which cuts off access temporarily. or the server could be down. both show an error message at the bottom of my newsreader screen. does your ISP have customer support? you could call & ask them. sometimes CS isn't aware the server choked... lee

Wow, I thought you all were lost forever (except on Google)!

I have not been able to read any messages through OE and my ISP since early last week. I finally went to my ISP's web site (I use cox.net) and they have installed new news servers with new server addresses. Then I had to unsubscribe and then subscribe again to get it to download.

Maybe you are having a similar problem, Dennis.
