IT IS Offfffffffff the loom

Lady ,,, that Thing is offfffffff the loom , Also took off the left over warp. Now i will clean the loom well , repair some of the holding threads and can start to dress it with Next project which hopefully won`t stay there for too long. The left over warp is going to other fibersrtists ,,, Since i have no wishto work with Manmade threads any more. The size of the work is ok , and i only need now to finish some parts in embrooidery .. mirjam

Oh well done Mirjam, I like to get mine off and then start something else, which again I can't wait to get off and start something new...and so the cycle goes on and on, once the dressing or threading is done, you are just weaving, it is then that you start to think about other exciting new projects

OH!!! I bet you fleet/float (??)(like an angel) in the room, over the loom, humming with joy, lost 20 kg weight, the sun is shining and the life is good!!

But may be you feel a bit disappointed too? It's a bit sad to say goodbye to a work which demand so much from you while working, And then you sort of lie it behind you, to be "devoted" to a new work.

Mirjam it is NOT EASY to express this in English, but I am pretty sure you see how I would have felt! Congratulations!! AUD ;-))

Hee AUD Yes i float ,,, i also have to repair some ropes on my loom .. A big weight OFF my soul .... But this time No disappointment it sat toooo long on the loom , it laughed at me when i had the 2 torn ligaments and couldn`t work and other accidents, it was `controling my workroom , made other planned weaving wait , maybe till i lost hope [=will] to ever make them ... No this is one work that Had to be done , and i am SO glad it is done. I am not saying good bye to it , igave birth to it ad the cord must be cut [ Double meant!!!!] For me this works include part of the feelings that arose / arise from working on my Research/transalting those Documents, it is a relief to let it out this way ,, weave it away or into proportion . I don`t lay it behind me , in fact i fold into a closet and hopefully when i will have enough works i will approach a museum and tray to exhibit it ., than it gets `another sort of life` ..... But i feel what you say .... mirjam
