Jennifer Lopez poncho in Monster in Law

It's very light and feminine. I want to make one for myself, looks like two rectangles sewn togther. Either rows of dc, or ch1 ski dc. Might have been done with a hook as big as a Q. I saw some yarn by Red Heart, Symphony, that looks very similar. Paton's makes a yarn too, Divine, that I think would work. I like the wide neck opening so you can wear it off the shoulder :D Here's a couple pics:

Sorry, but the second link did :( The first one is a close up and you get a better look at the stitches anyway. I forget that alot of people still carry anger for what she did during the Vietnam war. I wasn't even born then, so I tend to forget. I didn't mean to be insensitive :(

LOL! Thanks, Chris! I forgot about that... wasn't that just before she married Ted, and planned to move to Atlanta? Noreen who DOES think monster in law is a fitting 'part' for Ms. Fonda to play... LOL!!

I think she was a very young, very goofy addleheaded airheaded movie star very full of herself when she did that, didn't stop to think of the implications... and shouldn't be castigated for the rest of her life for one stupid move.

FWIW JaneB She's a good acress.

I'll just say this, because this all doesn't belong here, I realize: it is possible to have and express a variant political opinion from yours and still be an American who loves her country as much as you do. That right to have and express those opinions is one of our most precious rights as an American. Millions of us hated that war, it doesn't mean for one minute we didn't and don't cherish those who serve in the Armed Forces.

JaneB Happy day, it's a beautiful one where I am and I hope that's true for you, too.

I agree. I know I thought some things in my early 20's that were just crazy. Now I know better, I do better.

Not to worry, Chris. We often agree to disagree, and still continue knitting away.
