Is it only me or.....seems to me the poncho from Monster In Law has a lot of mohair in it, and the Lion Brand poncho looks nothing like it.... I may be wrong of course.

May be Lionbrand was afraid of copyrights. AUD ;-)

I had the exact same thought, Roger. I also questioned Lion Brand's description of "body-hugging fit" - it's a poncho, for goodness sakes! If it was "body-hugging" you wouldn't be able to move your arms.

hehe .. i just think Lion Brand wants to sell their yarn. I don't think they look at all alike.

The colors are similar, but the type of yarn is much different. It does say `inspired by' the one in the movie....

I saw the pattern this morning and was sorely disappointed :( It barely resembles it. I am working on the making one myself, and if I get a good replica I will post what I do. I was really disappointed with this one

FWIW, I didn't think their Martha Stewart pattern looked anything like the one Martha had on when she went "home"
