The mohair is called cornflower blue, all one color. I really like your simple idea of just taking the yarn with me and twisting it with other yarns to see how it works.....simple is good :)
Bit if I don't stop making swatches, there won't be enough left to make anything at all - lol.
Liz, What is the picture of "Hudson?" I really like that work. Is it a vest or the back of a sweater? Is it a freebie pattern?

it's a pattern from the RYC classic cafe book, which is a good purchase as it has a lot of patterns that I like. It's the back of a sweater. You can see it online here... it's the middle pattern of the 2nd row of photos
