You've repeated yourself an awful lot tonight, Nora. LOL

I don't have nearly as many FO's for November as you do:

2 6x6 squares 5 Cotton cloths 1 Baby blanket

WIP:

1st 6x6 square "The Tent" - maybe this is really a UFO since I don't work on it.

And, many WIM's (Works in Mind)

Hello there Nora Nora,

You are such a busy crocheter, I am almost ashamed to put up my little list:

FO : 3 6x6 Granny Squares WIP : Shawl of Many Colors

That's it from here in chilly Connecticut,

Hi Ladies,

Sorry for so many double postings, but google was playing games with me last night is why that happened, then they told me I couldn't post anymore, used up my amount of postings which I didn't know there was one. LOL

Gemini, my shawl is only two colors, pink and antique white.

Hugs,

Nora

Gem, when I finish it I'll try to get a picture of it online somewhere. I'm just learning how to use my printer/scanner/copier/fax that I got a year ago. I don't have a digital camera, but I think I can use the scanner to get it online - somewhere.

Thanks for asking,

That sounds very pretty, Nora... especially considering that I've seen a picture of one of your squares for it. It will be beautiful when finished. Is it for you, or are you giving it away like you give everything else away? Time for you to make and keep something nice for Nora, you know! ;o)

Hi Gem,

This is for our elderly neighbor who is in a nursing home. I've made her three afghans and thought she might like a shawl. What I need to make for myself is a pair of mittens that I can wear over my hand brace and that won't wear out.

Hugs,

Nora

Neat... I look forward to seeing it. If you want a *free* online photo album, just go to yahoo and start one up. It is honestly the easiest way I have ever come across of sharing pictures with people. :o)

formatting link
you go to the above album, you *should* be able to find a way to the main page where you can start your own photo album. Either that or just go to
formatting link
and click on "Photos". I have three yahoo email accounts, so I'm not the best one to tell you if you can do it without having a yahoo email address or not. Nora has a photo album with yahoo... and so do a couple of the other ladies on here... so maybe they can tell you if it's necessary or not.Gemini

Aww, that is very sweet of you... but no one is surprised about that, you are always very sweet and generous! :o) I'm sure the lady will love the shawl very much. Please do try to make yourself something... even if it is a pair of mittens. Hmm, how does make a pair that won't wear out though?

*hugs* Gem

Hi Rusty,

You have to have a Yahoo account, but can use any email address you want. I have one with them so it was easy to set up the album, once I used the right format for the pictures.

Hi Gem,

Now if I had some leather yarn I could make a pair, but I don't think there is any, anyone know if leather yarn is available.

Hugs,

Nora

Gem, I printed out your info about the Yahoo photo albums.

There is so much to learn - these computers are simply amazing ! I just learned how to scan postcards to sell on Ebay - I had put it off bc I thought it was beyond my 'computer capabilities', but I got them there, and they're up for sale.

That has really encouraged me to try other things with the photos, so I may be having a Yahoo Album some day soon.

But, as far as the picture of the Shawl of Many Colors, I better get going and finish the danged thing - I finished it once already, but the sides were too long, like wings, so I frogged it all, and now I'm putting it back together.

Thank you for taking the time to tell me about Yahoo Photos.

Bye for now,

Rusty and Dusty

You're most welcome, Rusty! :o) Once you actually do start putting pictures on the yahoo photo album, you will be amazed at how easy it is. I love it!

As for putting stuff on Ebay... hey girl, you are miles ahead of me on that account. I don't have clue one what to do there. Good luck with your sales. What kind of postcards? I'm nosy! ;o)

You could put the link to *your* sales page after your signature... it's not like you'd be advertizing or anything... just an addition to your signature and that way if someone wants to look they can. ;o)
