Off for a while

I just wanted to let you know that I will be gone for the next 12 days. I am off to St. John's to mark my last exams. Of course, I will be getting together with Michelle and checking out our yarn shop. I won't be buying much though, as I really have loads of wool and can't justify buying much more - just some specific colours for mittens for next winter. See you all when I get back!

Katherine offered me a plate of cheese and whispered:

I don't believe a word of it!!! :-)

I'm always saying the same thing, and yet I always buy more stash!

Weak...?? I don't believe that for a moment, you are adventurous.....also you have to live with that stash for a whole year before you back to buy more. We are tempted all the time....Ha, ha.

Enjoy your trip Katherine, and savour each moment, knowing that this time next year you'll likely be doing something very different. And specially enjoy your visit with Michelle, we'll see how much yarn you bring back!! Love & higs Christine

Michelle, Please e-mail me. I thought that I had your number in my book, but when I checked, there it wasn't! If you still have Gary's number, you could call me. But if not, we need to connect some other way. I can check my e-mail, but not my saved messages, so e-mailing me owuld work fine.

Local homespun??? Tell me more!

Alas, Els, I am too often tempted, too. ANd now Michelle has told me about a new source for local homespun, which I will have to investigate.

Higs, Katherine (who brought an extra suitcase with her just for this purpose. )

You just have to knit lots of mittens, and in your climate, that is quite justifiable LOL, nobody can quibble about that.
