OT - Family traditions

Many families have a family tradition of the father putting the star on top of the Christmas tree. We've never done that, as I never used a star when it was a Christmas tree - I have a lovely collection of treetop angels - and now that it's a Yule tree what goes on top varies from year to year, the mood I'm in, the phase of the moon (this one quite literally at times ).

No, our family tradition is turning out to be hanging the spider from the giant net web strung across the front courtyard area.

I never said we were a *normal* family
