I did! I have a couple of questions, though. Why didn't you get a picture of all three skinny-dippers? Did you stay at the Prince of Wales Hotel? Was it really cool enough to need a sweat shirt? Also, I have never heard the word "erosional" before. I think someone made that up. It look as though you had great weather.

The other two "chickens" put their pants on when the cruise boat approached. The 3rd guy was an exhibitionist - he went full frontal, but "luckily" while I was taking his pic, he was too fast for the shutter on my camera.
No - it was too expensive for this girl. We were camping in a tent until the last night.
During the day - only on the boat. We froze at night in our tent, and we are experienced campers. We wore layers and layers of clothes to bed. After 3 nights, I had had enough. That's why you see us in front of a motel on the last night. Even the old style motel wasn't cheap. With taxes it was $94/night !!!! It was worth it to have the bathroom in the next room in the middle of the night, and not pump tokens into a 4-minute shower. I think my camping days are done. ;>P
It took me a minute to figure out what you were talking about (snicker). It was the Cameron Falls plaque. Sooooooooo, here's the definition of "erosional" from the American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language.
"1. The process of eroding or the condition of being eroded: erosion of the beach; progressive erosion of confidence in our legal system; erosion of the value of the dollar abroad.
We did. However, on the drive there from my daughter's place, it poured cats and dogs. The rain finally stopped as we got further south. It was warm during the day, and bloody cold in the tent at night - but you read that earlier (laugh). Waterton Lakes is a beautiful spot, and Goat Haunt, Montana is incredible. It's the spot where the boat cruise ends before you turn around and go back. There is no road access and apparently is the jumping-off point for hikers. If they want to go hiking past a certain point, they have to go through U.S. Customs and Immigration. Cameron Lake is incredible too. They don't allow motorized boats on the lake and DH was lamenting that we had left our canoe at home. You could rent canoes, pedal boats and row boats. We saw lots of people in kayaks too.
I'm already checking out cabins for rent near Nakusp in British Columbia for next year...... forget the tent!! Upper Arrow Lake looks fabulous. So, I gotta start saving up for it now.

I agree with you about camping. I used to do it a lot, but now I don't think I could get up from the ground if I slept in a sleeping bag.

The pictures really show what a wonderful trip you had. It's hard not to be envious - except for the camping part. ;-)
You got that right!! No more tenting for me, I'm just getting a little too creaky for it (laugh)
Shelagh
Great pictures, must have been a lovely holiday.
Els
It was Els, and too short. I'm already planning for next year.... maybe around Nakusp, and in a cabin - NO tent!! (laugh) The Upper Arrow Lake area looks gorgeous, and good for fishing too. My DH likes fishing, and I'll do it once in a while too.

Holidays are always too short!
