You're really 'into' College stuff Connie! They're great; and I really like the Bug Jar quilt, with some having fallen over and the contents escaping - fun! . In message , Connie S writes

Not really. I sew for a living. Just about anything that can be sewn, mostly apparel for clients. But I'm getting more orders for quilts and just to quilt tops for people.

The college stuff is for family. Ihave 6 children and 8 (so far) grandchildren and I'm making a quilt for each one. I've got more pictures to post once I get them scanned in.

Hi Connie,

Great quilts! Some of my Ohio cousins went to Ohio State. And even though I'm a Bengals fan, I think your Dolphins quilts is wonderful! How'd you do that?

Kay:

I scanned in the image from the back of the quilt, opened it in Paint, changed the attributes to the size I needed and printed it in black and white.

I then marked the pieces, traced them onto the back of Wonder-Under, pressed the pieces on the correct fabric, cut them out, reassembled them on the white background, pressed them onto the background and then satin stitched them with black cotton thread.

Tedious but I think it was well worth it.
