Hi!

I really really want to attempt to make my FIRST fabric postcard for this GREAT project!! Can someone send me a link or something to show me how to do this? There must be somewhere to find easy patterns/ideas? I'm so excited!

Thanks, Jan. I hope to do this. This looks like a fun and fulfilling project. I'd like to suggest that while Karey started this project for US Military Members, quilters in other countries may want to make some of these cool postcards for veterans in your own military or veteran hospitals.

FYI to all quilters: on that web site, go to the yellow line about half way down 'to learn how to make fiber art postcards.' It is a fun and informative link.

Debi, if you go to Google, Groups, and look up the rec.crafts.textiles.quilting archives (that's us!), there should be a lot of 'hits' if you ask for 'quilted postcards'. I know Denny has done a lot, Leslie has, too, and Estelle I think; but I can't remember all the names of the people who have. You should have lots of examples to look at, if you check out the old threads. . In message , DLW writes
