Postcards

I think it's really neat to read about people in the exchanges getting postcards from their partners. When I used to chat on IRC a LONG time ago a few of my friends from different parts of the world sent me postcards that I put up on my bulletin board beside the computer so I could look at them when I spoke with whoever sent them. I still have them up too. :o)

Eventually I will put them into a photo album, and if I have a picture of the person who sent the card, their picture will go next to the card.

Hi Gem,

You would enjoy the article that was in our local paper this morning. A lady went to the post office to pick up her mail and there was a postcard from a relative that was mailed to another realitive back in

1913 that just got delivered. No one knows where it came from or where it's been all these years.

Hugs,

Nora

How cool, Nora! I remember hearing about a couple of other people that received a letter or postcard that had been sent to them many years before... but not a relative of the sender and person it was meant for... that's pretty neat! :o)

Hi Mirjam,

According to the story, she has the same last name and lives in the house where she has all her life so everyone in the little town knows her.

Hugs,

Nora
