The only thing I can think of is those hats are for people afriad of being hit by cars. In the USA, there are things called "Bots dots", the big white bumps you see on the road that block off certain sections, used to separate lanes especially at corners that you aren't supposed to try and run over, and that's what came to my mind on seeing this umm--shall we say UNIQUE--hat.

ROTFL I loved reading all the responses to that hat from you people here. Honestly, could you imagine walking down the street and seeing someone coming toward you wearing one of those? First it would be difficult to

*not* look, and secondly while trying desperately not to look it would be almost impossible not to fall on the ground in heaps of laughter. I think I would be ducking into the nearest store to get out of sight so that I could laugh without hurting the person's feelings. But really... if you are going to go outside wearing such a thing, you would honestly have to expect to hear laughing... right? If I ever wore such a thing at all (which I WOULDN'T), I would do it as a joke specifically to get a laugh from people.

- I think that belongs on the YouKnitWHAT website, if it didn't already make it there. ;o)

Of course I showed this site to my son and he says, "It's Kon!" That's cool. Can you make it for me?"

I will try my hand at freehanding the Anime character, It seems simple enough.
