I am sure that there are lots of this kind of songs about. Singing while you worked was very popular, and made the work load somewhat lighter....
I am now thinking of Snowwhite and the Seven Dwarfs, A Classic made by Walt Disney (BTW in a very good year 1936). One of the songs is "I whistle while a work" I can still see the dwarfs going off over the mountain into the woods.....LOL
