hi everyone
at our weaving mill we seem to have a problem weaving chenille yarns.
The fabric is woven on a Dornier loom. All chenille yarns come from the same dye lot.
4 prewinders are used for the chenille yarn and work alternately. The problem seems to be that the inserted chenille yarn seems to be less twisted on the right side of the loom and more twisted on the left side, with a fairly clear border situated in the middle of the fabric. This gives the right hand side another look than the left hand side. The fabric is a plain chenille fabric.
This seems to be a known problem, but the yarn supplier has no clue to resolve it.
Anybody heard of this before ?
