Louise,
Though I'm late getting to this thread, I do want to welcome you to the group. Sorry that your walk in the door was so bumpy. This group is truly very endearing -- I'm sure you meant no harm, but we kinda view it like strangers walking in should first say "hi, I'm (name), blah, blah." Then we all rally 'round and give a proper welcome to which I'm sorry you missed out.
Your site is lovely, as is your work. I do agree with Aud that crocheted work for babies always makes me worry 'bout their little fingers getting caught unless the stitches are very small and SC's.
I admire you for this undertaking. Friends of mine have encouraged (or might that be "badgered"?) me to do something similar, but I have not (at least as yet) gotten into it. I'll be interested to see how you make out, and I do hope you keep us posted.
Welcome to the group, and I hope you come back and get to know us 'cause it really isn't bumpy here as you might've first thought. Though there are many of us and we might not each know every single member, we do care about each other and view this as a family. Smiles to you, Eve :o)
