Re: Question: How do you finish up sides of afghan?

Welcome back, Dee! Glad you're feeling better! :o)

Nora is our afghan expert... considering how many afghans she has made (and is still making), so I will leave that up to her (or anyone else) to answer as I haven't made a striped afghan in many years and don't remember what I did to it. ;o)

On a side note: I stopped to make my sister a 'after surgery' doll, > crocheted with the brown yarn. It's crocheted in one piece .... no > sewing. LOL .. it's quite funny, will have to take a picture.

Looking forward to seeing the picture! Did you make up the pattern yourself, or find it on the internet or a book?

Hey Gemini .... thanks for the welcome back. :-)

I should have left out the word (Question), so more folks could see the word (Afghan). Oh well!

OK ... will look forward to hear from Nora.

I just crocheted the doll on my own .. no pattern .. just a head .. then a neck .. then arms and legs ... kinda just kept crocheting 'off' from the other areas. Mind you, it's just a plain silly doll, nothing special. LOL!

Hugs, Dee
