Renewing the RCTY Information List (2006 Version)

The following (at the very end) is from the RCTY Information List 2002. If you wish to be on the list (not a mailing list... just a fun list for us all to see where everyone is located, etc) please fill in the blanks that you

*want* to share. Please note: *exact* location (as in city or town) are NOT required, nor is anyone's age... or any other information you don't feel comfortable giving online. BirthDAYs are just fun, so that people can remember (Nora remembers the best of all of us and leads the way) to say Happy Birthday to you. :o)

If you'd rather send the information to me instead of just filling in the blanks here on the newsgroup, just email me at gemsawriter AT yahoo DOT ca with RCTY LIST in the subject line, and your information in the note part of it. I will post the 2006 RCTY Information List on December 31 st.

Also, if you haven't been added to the RCTY Friends Photo Album, but wish to be... please send a jpg picture of yourself to me at gemsawriter AT yahoo DOT ca with RCTY Friends in the subject line, and the name you use on the newsgroup in the note section so I can add it to your picture.

Yep, but I think some of it is missing, by the way it ended. I seem to remember a lot more names and places than what I have now. But you're on it! Did you want me to just copy your information to the new list?

I'm not sure what the suppose of your list really will is for and NO do not copy my information. I don't want my information posted anyway. An album/spreadsheet in yahoo is a public record and could easily be used for identity theft.

I don't remember if you have me on the old list, but if so I kindly ask you to remove me. I love you all here but I don't want to share any information on the net. I did this mistake in the past (no one here involved, by the way).

Ditto for me -- I put my name, country and state on Mirjam's post, but that's the extent of the information I'd want on the list.

Alright Darlene! I won't copy your information... I *did* ask you, so there was no need to get huffy about it. I would never copy anyone's information without their permission. The *only* reason I asked you at all was because you asked if I had the original... and you *had* given the information along with everyone else back in 2002. If you recall, when I started the list back in 2002 you actually tried to start one up at the same time. There is no special reason to the list, other than to share with other people of the newsgroup (who are friends)... that's it, no hidden agenda at all.

As I said yesterday... I kind of like Mirjam's new way for the list anyway! Just so you know... unless I get an overwhelming response to this from people saying they actually *want* the old style of list redone, I won't bother with it and we can all just do it the new way that Mirjam came up with.

I'm aware that you are in pain with your hand, but there was no need to get snippy with me when I just asked you a simple question!

Accepted... but personally it didn't really matter to me who said no or for what reason. Everyone was entitled to fill in the information or not... it didn't matter to me one way or the other. It's over now anyway, and we all will just be doing it Mirjam's new way. I have too many other things to think about or worry about anyway.

My Mom's birthday was the same day as yours! :o) I am sorry to read about your son Benjamin, I can't even begin to imagine the pain of losing a child. :o( I love his name by the way... if I had had another boy I would have liked to call him Benjamin Seth. Uhhh, I just realized the poor kid would have had the initials BS. *giggle* Okay, I'm REALLY tired, so I'm thinking weird now.
