Ohhh! We have not had rain for a month, and that has been WONDERFUL for my fig tree. I've already made 14 jars (fig with vanilla bean, and fig with lime). I've been picking for the next batch: fig with ginger and walnuts. Because of rain during this ripening time, I haven't gotten any figs off my tree for the last 3 years! They would get soggy and bug-ridden before they got ripe, with too much rain. Kira
