Hello everybody, I've never posted to RCTY before (that I can remember, anyway), so I'm hoping that I won't go unhelped! I'm looking for a pattern for a crocheted poodle soap cover, circa the 1950's or 60's. I've searched high and low on the internet and have only been able to come up with one pattern, and it's not the right one. A friend of mine remembers fondly the "soap dog" that sat on her grandmother's dresser, but now that her grandmother has passed on it's nowhere to be found. She inherited all her grandmother's craft patterns, and the pattern for this dog is not among them. I really want to surprise her for Christmas by finding her the pattern to make this dog (or one reasonably similar). Does anyone have a pattern like this or know where I could find one??
