Stash sizes???

Had a visitor yesterday who considers learning to weave ,,, She brought her mini table loom , and a bag with wools ,,,, she saw my various bags on the wire shelves ,,, and asked if it was Useful to have so many threads, and if it doesn`t distract me to have too many colors to choose from .???? mirjam

I actually DO get distracted by my stash. Not because there is too much to choose from, but because I keep looking over at it wondering what I can make next!

And she also will learn that it is IMPOSSIBLE to keep the stash down, the more you use it, the more it grows!!! AUD ;-)

Oh, I agree you never have enough stash or at least I don't. I'm like Laura even with the stash in containers that I can't see inside of, I keep thinking of how I'm going to mix the different colors together.

Nora dear - the secret is to buy clear sided totes. That way you can admire your stash but also find yarn quickly that you're looking for! (snicker). Actually, I think I need to buy a couple more totes. The stash bags are starting to pile up again! BWAHAHAHAHAHA.

But they you get to he point where you have some nice stuff, but you don't want to use it, because a better project might turn up! Just imagine if you used that fluffy purple mohair blend with some fluffy blue mohair, and then realised it would have been the perfect yarn to use with that smooth purple wool...
