Stashdiving opportunity

I need help! I need a second hank of Skacel Merino color 669 dyelot

4120. It's a mallardy-greenish-blue sort of color. Some might even call it teal.

The LYS from which I bought this hank tells me she cannot get two hanks of the same dyelot from the distributor, which I find odd, but I'll take it at face value. Maybe the color has been discontinued or something, who knows.

At any rate, do any of you SABLE folks out there happen to have a hank of the stuff that I can beg, borrow, or buy? I've got scads of lace yarn in my stash that I can offer for swap, or non-lace yarn, or spinning fiber, or...

Wooly, is this the lace weight merino? If so, my LYS carries it, and I can check there tomorrow night and see if they have any (I do have an extra in red, but I don't think it would go very well. :)

Hi,

Bummer, but they don't have that color. They do carry it, and they have other colors (they have a lovely shade of lilac), but they don't have that particular color number. I've asked them to order one in that color with the next order, but I don't know how long that will take, and I'm not sure how long you wanted to wait, or if there was another source of it.

Thanks for making the effort. My LYS can get more of this color number, but says she can't get two in the same dyelot. I'll just swap this one along to somebody and use different yarn for the project.
