I have two, maybe three pairs to make by hand, then I'm not making socks at all for months...

Yep. I blew through all of the virgin sock yarn in the stash save for one ball of Opal I kept back to knit by hand. I have yarn for two pairs of Koigu socks that I'll handknit, plus an odd hank; although 5 hanks could grow up to be a shawl instead of socks! I also have one pair of CTH socks that I'll knit by hand, and a pair on needles now.
So see, I have a few weeks yet before I quit knitting socks for a while. Or maybe I'll finish the pair on needles and call a sock haitus. No more sock yarn for me for quite a while though!

"Wow" wooly that is impressive. Great colours too.
I am still looking for a sock knitting machine, I do not want to buy one via E-Bay, because I want to look at the machine first so I can see if it is in good working order, before I buy one
Luckily you're in Canada (I think); it seems that most of the sock machines being offered on ebay are in Canada. Maybe one will be offered that is within driving distance.

There are a couple of reputable restorers/resellers who won't sell you a lemon - they have reputations to maintain, after all.
