Great job Wooly, the sweater looks marvy! Bet it's nice and warm too. I know what you mean about sleeves riding up...... Marie and the cats

I like it, I like it. The shoulder detail is very interesting and I like the pockets. Thanks for all the pics! You must feel very good about finishing the project - and I hope you will enjoy using it.

It is much easier to understand your descriptions now that we have seen the finished product.

We keep trying to send you some rain for that yard - maybe today it went there as we have a few spots of blue above. Our lawn is certainly green (and mossy) but don't step on it if you want to keep the mud off your socks. It is really squishy - someone went off the driveway a bit and there are ten inch deep tread marks that have filled in with muddy water. Yuk!

Nice work. I particulaly like the fact that you both spun and knit. Wow!

But, maybe the guage was 18 stitches per 4 inches? (Rather than 18 stitches per inch as stated?)

Wooly, it's exactly the cardigan type i saw at the net! I like the way it's made I think it's special! The buttons are very nice too!! No, I SHALL not laugh! Not from these nice pictures, but I must admit I got a good laugh, imagining you and the camera in front of the bathroom mirror! (MY mirror is so high that I must have climbed on a chair to see the cardigan too;-)) Thanks for showing, I have learned something new today! ;-)) AUD ;-)

The shoulder is a modified raglan finished with a short saddle. The basic construction is pretty simple, really, if you can figure out how to get the armhole opening built knowing that it isn't a yoked sweater, and the sleeves are picked up and knitted down.

Thanks y'all :) I'm going to scour out the sweater today - I think, there's rain in the forecast but my skies are clear at the moment, put it in the cedar chest when dry in hopes of getting some weather cool enough to justify wearing it!
