Recent medical studies have show that anything done repetitively lowers your heart rate, reduces stress, and helps us to focus on the moment. Knitting = stress reduction!! And, when we knit in groups, we meet wonderful people, and begin to form friendships, and those bonds help us get through some of the difficult times as well as sharing the fun times! LOL, in conclusion, you end up with a garment that you have made either for yourself or another person, and that gives us peace.
