Well RCTYers ,,,, As you all know i am into this "Finishing Marathon".... The sweater i told you about ....had only 30 cm to end second sleeve, thus this was done. Than had some trouble working out which way i did that lacy edge , but once working this out i just knitted along [ i have to mention i am quite a slow knitter], suddenly realising To my great joy that .....in fact it is almost long enough to cast off Hurray ..... Now i treally feel i would like to finnish it with a neat edge ,,, preferably `graded` or Zigzag like, as the lace edge isn`t straight either .... thus i looked through some lacy dging that might be neat on the hem of a sweater ,,,, it souldn`t be too fancy , nore too complicated ,,,,,and i am thinking that best i saw is like a row of entrelac[s] = triangles knit sideways,,,,, the thing to do now is count my stiches and see into wahich number i can divide them ..... It is a great Bliss , just `started` knitting and already have a finnished sweater ,,, in less than a week ........hahahahha These days we are going to have Earlier Elections,,,,Now from the point of view of a knitter/crocheter this is Great .... my hausband keeps listening /watching all those Talking [ Shouting[ debates ....No need to watch those shows , hearing is enough .......thus knitting / crocheting will gain a lot of stiches .... hahahhaha mirjam

You have really been in a finishing mood and it makes you feel so good to see the pile of WIPs get smaller. Before you know it you'll have to start some new things.

Don`t worry Nora Twin ,,,, things have been started ,,, I really must go back to my book ,,, and next curated xhibtion is end March ... By the way decided to finnish my sweater with a line of rectangles ,,,
i had 164 st + 16 from [the narrow part of the lace that is also Toothed] thus 180 which divide into 6 .... knit 6 , turn k6, T, k5, T k5 , Tk4 , T k4 , T k 3 , T k 3 , T k2 ,T k 2 , T k1 , T K 1 , now cast off all 6 ,,, and knit last stich together with next stich ,, k 5 more and repeat the above ,,,, you will get a hem of triangles ,,, mirjam

If you get yourself an email address (free) with them, you can then start your own free photo album, like I did for the RCTY Friends Photos, and like Nora recently did to showcase her beautiful work. It really is the *easiest* way of sharing photos that I have ever found. :o) Gemini
errrr, Gem, you don't even have to get an email address with them, you can JUST get a YahooID, and skip the email if you wish..... JM2c Noreen
Ooops, well considering that I have THREE email accounts with Yahoo, I never even thought about that. For some reason I thought it was needed. Well.... even better then! ;o)
