I need to sell about 70 pounds of raw alpaca fleeces!!!

Dec 12, 2005 3 Replies

I'm an alpaca farmer with too much raw fleece ...my spouse wants the living room to be "free of alpaca fleeces" sooner than later. I still have both huacaya and suri available. I have some very nice white fleeces; lots of good black fleeces and a good selection of fawns, grays, and browns. I even have pinto bay black and white at 16 microns. We do have fleece stats on all of our animals. I have some fleeces from other farms also and I can probably find what you want if I don't have it...I'd send you a link to another farm. Please take a look at our animals!

I will pay shipping in the USA, but I live in California so must collect sales tax.

My fleeces cost by the pound: $25.00 for firsts (lightly skirted) $20.00 for seconds $17.50 for felting weights which are coarse.

Please folks, spread the word around as April shearing is just around the corner and I dont' have room for it unless I sell the fleeces I have.

If you want samples, just mail me a "snail mail address and tell me what you want to see.

Hi, Allison! Rather than a 'sample' via snail, do you have any photo's of samples? Noreen noreenDOTjATgmailDOTcom

Noreen, a sample in the mail is not a bad idea, you want to see and feel and even listen to your fiber. (listen you do by holding a lock of the fibers by your ear and pulling the fibers between both hands.

....and may be you want to smell it; I do! I love the smell! AUD ;-)
